Step into the fast-paced world of finance with our team-based live trading challenge. Using real market data, students will build a virtual portfolio, compete for the best return, and discover how a Finance, Banking & Finance, or Finance & Economics degree can turn market instincts into a career in investment banking, fintech, or trading.

This experiential session is for the following programmes: BSc (Hons) Finance; BSc (Hons) Banking and Finance (Dual Degree); BA (Hons) Finance and Economics (Dual Degree).

Students will engage in a hands-on mini data challenge, with no prior coding knowledge needed. You will work in pairs, using a simple analytics dashboard to uncover a business insight, followed by a live AI/product demo. This comprehensive experience shows how data skills and digital innovation drive real business decisions.

Working in teams, you will tackle a real global business or economic scenario and pitch your solution to a faculty panel. This immersive experience highlights three pathways into global leadership, consulting and management careers.

Step into a fast-paced 'Dragons' Den'-style workshop, where you and your team will brainstorm to invent a mini brand or startup. After crafting a pitch and tagline, you will present to an 'investor panel' for instant feedback. This high-energy session is designed for you to capture and share on social media.

This experiential session is for the following programmes: BA (Hons) Marketing (Dual Degree); BA (Hons) Business Entrepreneurship (Dual Degree)

In this values-driven scenario workshop, student teams role-play resolving a workplace culture dilemma or a sustainability challenge, thereby discovering fast-growing careers in HR, ESG, and CSR that put people and the planet first.

In this rapid event-design sprint, you will create a themed hotel, festival, or event concept on a mood board and pitch it to judges. This session connects the fun of experience-design to real careers in hotels, airlines, festivals, and MICE events.

This session is a prestige-focused showcase of BUV's University of London degrees, academically directed by LSE. It features a taste of an LSE-style seminar and case discussion, a cost-and-outcomes comparison versus studying abroad, and a Q&A on entry requirements. It covers all four UoL/LSE routes (Finance; Business and Management; Economics and Management; and Data Science and Business Analytics) side by side, so students can see how the degree structure works before picking a subject.

1. Sound on Screen: Introduces the art of Foley sound effects creation, and participants will “perform” sounds to picture in the sound studio.

How do game studios invent genuinely new mechanics? In this fast-paced design sprint, you will step into a game designer's mindset alongside an industry professional from VTC Studios. You will take traditional video game rules, such as gaining power when levelling up or avoiding damage, and completely flip them upside down. Using intuitive visual layout tools on a PC, you will then map out and build interactive prototypes driven by these inverted systems, discovering firsthand how creative constraints drive industry innovation.

Step into a highly interactive cybersecurity experience where you play the role of both attacker and defender. By analysing simulated websites and messages, both safe and malicious, you will learn how cybersecurity professionals detect and prevent digital threats.

In this fast-paced, hands-on AI challenge, students interact with a live AI vision system using gestures, objects, facial expressions, or images. You will try to confuse the AI, discover why it sometimes makes mistakes, and then improve its performance by providing better examples. Finally, the session will conclude by connecting this activity to real-world Applied AI applications such as smart cameras, robotics, healthcare, and autonomous systems.
